The last part of our winter gig is setting up and managing a fireworks stand for new years eve. This only lasts from around Xmas Eve til New Years Day. We have to inventory all of the fireworks, set up and break down tables and such…a lot less work than the tree lot! It is a welcome more lax side of the job after a busy tree season.
Here is the second set of videos on my workamping series. In these I explain about each species of tree in seperate, quick, informational videos. It is amazing what you learn when you workamp 🙂
Here are some videos I have been posting on our experiences workamping a christmas tree lot! Right after pumpkins (about 2 weeks later) we get a delivery of trees, hire some workers, and start selling! It is a great way to earn money at the end of the year to travel and invest with the rest of the next year and we get to see what a place is all about, how the people are, crime, traffic etc. Which….is PERFECT for us bc we are looking for a place to call home:) Here are the first 5 in the series!
Last year, we came upon a workamping gig running a pumpkin patch, christmas tree lot, and fireworks stand October-January in Arizona. We decided, What the heck lets do it! So we decided to do it again this year and I am documenting it a bit more so people know what goes into it and what it looks like! Here are the videos I have posted on youtube so far, first to most recent! I will continue to update! Enjoy!
