Here is my gear that I use on location to film and make content. I started off with a tripod, my phone, a ring light, and a little confidence 🙂 Every year, I buy new equipment or upgrade equipment because in my field, tech is always changing and our audiences love new perspectives, better quality, and cooler effects. The Creative Directive is more important than EVER now!

PHONE TRIPOD
PHONE MOUNT
RING LIGHT
Tripod: They also sell an 86″ I would like to try but I have been successful with the 74″ for 3 years.
Mount: This just holds really well compared to the one any tripod comes with. Mine survived wind, getting knocked over…its been tested!
Ring Light: You just need white light. This does have a phone holder you can use if you dont have the budget for all 3 items, but I prefer to have my tripod for my phone seperate from my light.

LIGHTNING MOVO
USB-C MOVO MIC
This mic clips onto anything (I mostly use it as a lapelle mic.) And comes with a Long Mic Attachment with different colored covers!
SOUND upgrade should be NEXT on your list.
This MOVO mic is tried and tested by me and the many people I have had use it for the content I was producing.
Half the price of THE RODE mics (They are amazing, but I didn’t want to splurge on those just yet when these work fabulously).
This is a BIG kit. They have a single mic as well in the links provided. MAKE SURE you purchase the right USB/LIGHTNING port for your mic! 2 mics are always better than one. Great for back and forth interviews & when people are nervous on camera, its great when they can have someone else join them and be on camera with them. ![]()

SMALL RIG CAGE
This is called a SMALL RIG Cage and it is one of the single most contraptions I own that people constantly ask me about when they see me on location filming.
Fits any phone I am pretty sure…I have used an Apple, Samsung, and go pro in it myself.
